I was proud that my mum was now a queen . She married an old , divorced man , with a daughter named Cinderella . In actual truth , i hated her because she was pretty , much more prettier than me and Anastasia . Being in a Royal family now , we were invited to the Prince Charming's Ball . Mum , Anastasia and myself kept ordering and pestering Cindrella around , like as if she was our slave . When i was on my way out , Cinderella stopped me . She bugged me to let her follow us to the ball . I ignored her . At the Ball , i melted all night long just by looking at the Prince . He was so handsome , too handsome that every girl would drool right at that point of time . It was soon going to be my turn to dance with the Prince . But not until a lovely girl in an elegant white gown stepped in . I felt deceived . The Prince reached for her . He danced with her for the whole night , not giving other girls a chance to have a turn with him . The girl looked familiar , too familiar that i actually knew her . " Cinderella .. " , I gasped . When we reached home , i quickly searched for Cinderella . Surprisingly , she was there . Cinderella was scrubbing the floor . I thought deeply . It wasn't her afterall at the Ball . Being such a bimbo , i ignored and played with my hair instead . The Sun rose , and the bell rang . A commander had send a message that the Prince is finding the Princess he had danced with . The girl who he had danced with had left one of her glass slipper at the doorsteps . The Prince went to every Royal house which attended the Ball . Anastasia and i tried on the slipper . It was too big for me and it was too small for Anastasia . Mum convinced him that i was the one who wore that glass slipper yesterday . The Prince ignored . Cinderella came , looking and wondering what was happening . Anastasia and myself tried blocking her , refraining her to see what was happening . Suddenly , the Prince held his head up , staring and gazing at Cinderella . He asked Cinderella to try on the glass slipper . It perfectly matched , her feet was the same size as the glass slipper . Everyone was shocked . " That hideous girl did not go to the Ball ! It was just a coincidence that her feet has the same size as the Princess you danced with ! " , Mum shouted furiously . My eyes popped out , and i stopped breathing . So my conclusion was right afterall ! It was Cinderella who danced with the Prince . I DID SAW HER AT THE BALL ! I steadied my breathing and stared at the happy slave with my mouth wide open . Labels: Task 4

These days , there are more and more students slacking about and not studying . These kind of habits are causing them to fail their subjects . Some students will want to give up when they fail as they think that they have no hopes left . Therefore , i think they are wrong . When you fail your subjects , it means that you either did not study or you did studied but you studied the wrong topic . It does not matter if you failed badly in the beggining because i believe that with every failure , it will lead you to a bigger success . When you fail , you will strive to do better . You will know your weaknesses and you will try to buck up and improve on that subject itself . Students tend to work extra harder when they fail their subjects , even if they hate that subject a lot . On the other hand , certain students who pass their exams with flying colours , will tend to be too over confident of themseleves . It may lead them to be slacking even more than the students who failed . The reason is because that the students who passed , they will think that they knew everything and that they can catch up at the last minute . That kind of attitude is very pessimistic as it shows that the student , himself , is putting too much high hopes that he did not even bother to revise and study earlier than usual . In contrast , some students ought to study even harder so that they could score better eventhough they had passed their exams . Some students that had scored well tend to tell themselves that they can do better and push themselves to study even more . That kind of attitude is the best as it shows that the students are into studying and they are not the type who gives up easily . Anyway , some students have low self-esteems . By having low self-esteems , students will give up straightaway telling themselves that they are stupid and they cannot make it through the next exam . These will cause the students to not bother about their studies anymore . They will also tend to have the feeling to stop school and work instead of studying . Overall , students may have jealousy seeing the 'smarter students' having better grades than them . This is simply because , the 'smarter ones' are putting in a very big effort to study at least an hour everyday rather than the ones who are not even putting in any effort to study . This also does not meant that the ones who usually fail are not smart enough because the ones who fail , doesn't study for their exams . So , work hard and do not give up in order to succeed and make yourself proud . Labels: Task 1b
